Biography

Lynn-Maree Milburn is an Australian writer, director, editor and producer.
Milburn has directed the feature-length documentary In Bob We Trust and co-directed the feature-length documentary Autoluminescent and directed Memories and Dreams a feature-length dramatised documentary that enjoyed Official Selection at Venice, Telluride, Yamagata, and Hungary’s Mediawave, winning multiple awards including Jury Prize at Hungary, Best Film at Melbourne and the AFI Open Craft Award. She co-produced Amiel Courtin-Wilson’s documentary Chasing Buddha and co-directed John Safran’s Music Jamboree for SBSi (AFI Award Best Television Comedy 2003). She animated and directed numerous music videos including What You Need for INXS winning several local and international awards. She wrote, produced and directed Memories & Dreams. She co-produced Amiel Courtin-Wilson’s documentary Chasing Buddha and co-founded the production company Ghost Pictures Pty Ltd, Lynn-Maree directed several stories for John Safran’s Race Relations whilst continuing to direct television commercials.
