Biography
Luke Connolly (born 2 November 1992) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a centre-forward for the Cork senior team.
Born in Cork, Connolly first played competitive Gaelic football and hurling at Coláiste Chríost Rí. Here he won a Corn Uí Mhuirí title. Connolly first appeared for the Nemo Rangers club at juvenile and underage levels, and he later won a county senior championship medal.
Connolly made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected for the Cork minor team. He had one championship season with the minor team and won a Munster medal as a non-playing substitute. Connolly subsequently joined the Cork under-21 team, winning back-to-back Munster medals in 2012 and 2013. Connolly made his senior debut during the 2015 league.
