Lewis Anwyl (1705? - 1776) of Llandecwyn, Gwynedd, was a cleric and author. He was son of Rev. William Anwyl. After graduating from All Souls College, Oxford, in 1726 he entered the priesthood. He was appointed curate-in-charge of Ysbyty Ifan in 1740, relocating to Abergele in 1742.
His writings include 'Y Nefawl Ganllaw, Neu'r Union Ffordd i Fynwes Abraham', Argraphwyd yn y Mwythig, gan R. Lathrop, Tros Dafydd Jones (1740) and 'Cristianowgrwydd Catholig, neu Draethawd Bŷrr Tuagat Leihau Awrth Ddadlau Ymhlith Cristianogion'.
He died in Abergele in 1776 and is buried in the parish church.
