Lawrence Bartell

Lawrence Sims Bartell (born 1923) is the Philip J. Elving Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at the University of Michigan. His research in physical chemistry focused on electron diffraction studies of molecular structure and later on molecular mechanics. Bartell retired from his faculty position at Michigan in 1993.
