Biography

Kumi Sasaki (佐々木 久美, Sasaki Kumi, March 13—) is a Japanese recording artist from Kanagawa Prefecture. She was first in Masaki Ueda's band as the keyboardist and sang in the chorus. In her career, she has worked with Misia, Tatsuro Yamashita, mink, Maki Ohguro, EXILE, Porno Graffitti, and SMAP, among others. In 2000, she lent her voice to the Super Sentai series Mirai Sentai Timeranger by singing its opening theme "JIKŪ ~Mirai Sentai Timeranger" (JIKŪ~未来戦隊タイムレンジャー, JIKŪ ~Mirai Sentai Taimurenjā) and an English language version of the song entitled "Beyond All Space and Time" and some insert songs including "Bad Victory" and "Who Are You?" She was also part of the chorus for "Gaorangers Roar!!" (ガオレンジャー吠えろ!!, Gaorenjā Hoero!!) and "The Stairs to Heaven" (大空への階段, Ōzora e no Kaidan) for Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. She is currently involved with the groups Nelson Super Project and K.R.B.
