Kenneth "Ken" Welburn (birth registered July→September 1929 - death unknown) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s, and 1950s, playing at club level for Featherstone Rovers (Heritage № 298), as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.

Playing career

Welburn made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Saturday 20 November 1948.

Challenge Cup Final appearances

Welburn played left-prop, i.e. number 8, in Featherstone Rovers' 12-18 defeat by Workington Town in the 1952 Challenge Cup Final during the 1951–52 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 19 April 1952, in front of a crowd of 72,093.
