Katsuji Miyazaki (c. 1915 – 18 March 1993) was a Japanese aeronautical engineer living near Tokyo, Japan. He was the director of family firm Miyazaki Airplane during World War II and later transitioned his engineering career from airplane to vehicle parts manufacturing working for Toyo Radiator Company, Limited, now known as T.RAD.
He and his wife had four children: Arita Miyazaki (July 1939 – ?), notable Japanese anime artist Hayao Miyazaki (5 January 1941 – present), Yutaka Miyazaki (January 1944 - ?), and Shirou Miyazaki. Between 1947 and 1955 his wife was bedridden with spinal tuberculosis. After his wife, "Dola" Miyazaki, transitioned to being nursed at home, she recovered and lived until her death in July 1980.
