Karl Rammelt
German fighter ace and Knight's Cross recipient
Karl Rammelt (10 June 1914 – 13 May 2009) was a German fighter pilot in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, awarded by Nazi Germany to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Rammelt was credited with 46 aerial victories in 450 combat missions.
