Biography
Josefa Masegosa Gallego (born 1957 Oria, Almería) is a Spanish astronomer, scientific researcher at the CSIC at the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA).
Life
She studied at the University of Granada and at the University of Sussex. In 1988, she obtained a doctorate in Physical Sciences at the University of Granada.
She is a CSIC scientific researcher at the Andalusian Astrophysics Institute (IAA) where she was head of the Extragalactic Astronomy Department.
