Archbishop John Ha Tiong Hock (born 5 March 1947 in Kuching, Sarawak), was ordained a priest on 14 December 1972, and was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Kuching on 17 January 1998. His episcopal ordination was on 6 June 1998. He was appointed Archbishop of Kuching on 23 June 2003, and was installed on 16 July 2003. On March 4, 2017, he resigned as Archbishop, handing over the diocese to his Auxiliary Bishop, Simon Peter Poh Hoon Seng. He was also the president of the Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei Episcopal Biblical Commission.
