John Doddington was an English landowner and politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1640.
Doddington was the son of Sir William Doddington of Breamore, Hampshire. He inherited the estates and Breamore House on the death of his father in 1638.
In April 1640, Doddington was elected Member of Parliament for Lymington in the Short Parliament.
Doddington had two daughters. Margaret married Sir Thomas Hannan but died childless. Ann married, firstly, Robert Greville, 4th Baron Brooke, son of Robert Greville, 2nd Baron Brooke. She married secondly Thomas Hoby.
