Joannes Philippus Spalthoven, or Spalthof (c. 1680, Antwerp – c. 1722, Antwerp), was a Flemish Baroque painter.
According to Houbraken he was a contemporary of Jasper Broers who specialized in historical allegories with animals, but also made many scenes of Italianate vegetable markets (Dutch: Italiaansche Groenmarkten). He made a pilgrimage to Rome by foot three times.
According to the RKD his birth and death dates are unknown, but from dated works his period of production has been established as 1700-1722. His landscapes show the influence of Nicolaes Pietersz Berchem.
