Biography
Jared Hauser (born 1971), is an American oboe professor at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee. From 2003-2009 he was principal oboist of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and faculty at the Lynn Conservatory of Music. On March 27th, 2014 Hauser premiered Monk's Oboe for oboe and string quartet by American composer Libby Larsen.
