Biography

James Binney (31 May 1885 – 9 September 1978), born Edgar James Binney, was an Australian cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Victoria. He was born in Port Tremayne and died in Brighton. Binney made a single first-class appearance for the team, during the 1909-10 season, against Tasmania. From the tailend, he scored 29 runs in the only innings in which he batted, as Victoria won the match by an innings margin.
