Mirza Jabbar Asgarzadeh (Persian:میرزا جبار عسگرزاده) (often known as Jabbar Baghtcheban (Persian: جبار باغچه بان) established the first Iranian kindergarten for the deaf, and was the inventor of Persian language cued speech. He was an Iranian Azerbaijani.
Jabbar Baghtcheban was the father of the late Iranian composer Samin Baghcheban.
