Isa Briones

Isabella Camille Briones (born January 17, 1999) is a British-born American actress.

Early life

Briones was born in London to Jon Jon and Megan Briones (nee Johnson), and she has a younger brother Teo. All three are actors, and Megan is also a singer. Isa is of Filipino, Irish and Swedish descent.

Briones first worked as a model in New York City, at the age of three. In 2006, her family moved to Los Angeles. Briones attended Millikan Middle School and the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and graduated from the latter in March 2017.

Career

Since 2008, Briones has worked as an actress. That year, she played a supporting role in the short film Persuasion, and the feature film Brown Soup Thing. She has also acted on stage, and received an Ovation Award from the Los Angeles Stage Alliance in 2018 for her performance as Natalie in the East West Players production of Next to Normal. She was cast in the musical "Hamilton" in 2018.

As of 2020, Briones stars in Star Trek: Picard as Dahj and Soji Asha.

She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
