Ike Dominique Ugbo (born 21 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays for Barnsley, on loan from Chelsea, as a forward.

Ugbo was born in London. Ugbo is of Nigerian descent.

Club career

Chelsea

Ugbo started out his Chelsea career in an Under-10 side in 2007. He made his debut for the U-18 side in the 2013-14 season, scoring 2 goals in 4 appearances. Beside the U-18, U-19, & U-23 squads, Ugbo has scored 63 goals in 102 appearances.In July 2017, Ugbo signed a new contract until 2021.

Loan to Barnsley

On 17 July 2017, Ugbo signed a season-long loan deal with Barnsley. On 5 August 2017, Ugbo made his debut off the bench against Bristol City which resulted in a 3–1 loss. Three days later, Ugbo made his first start for Barnsley in the first round of the Carabao Cup against Morecambe. He went on to scored the second goal of the game in a 4–3 victory. Although later on the decision was made that deemed his goal was an own goal by Mitchell Lund instead.

International career

Ugbo has represented England at under-17 and under-20 level. In June 2017, Ugbo also scored once in three appearances, which helped England's under-20 side win the Toulon Tournament.
