Biography
Horst Assmy (German: Aßmy; 29 November 1933 – 14 January 1972) was a German footballer. In East Germany, he played for Vorwärts Berlin until 1959 when he left the country as a republikflucht and began playing for Tennis Borussia Berlin. Staying with Tennis Borussia through 1961, Assmy also played for KSV Hessen Kassel from 1962–63.
