Homero Alsina Thevenet (1922–2005) was a Uruguayan journalist and film critic. He wrote the first book about Ingmar Bergman outside of Sweden. During the Argentine coup he was living in Argentina, because of the coup he exiled to Barcelona. He returned to Montevideo in 1989, founding the cultural section of leading newspaper El País.
