Hilary Ewing Howse (1866-1938) was an American businessman and politician. He served as a member of the Tennessee Senate from 1905 and again in 1909, and later as Mayor of Nashville from 1909 to 1913, and again from 1923 to January 2, 1938 when he died in office. He was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
