Biography

Harry "Dickie" Beaumont was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage #100), as a Fullback, i.e. number 15 (when rugby league was still a sport of 15-players per side, it utilised the same numbering system as rugby union positions), or later as a Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums.

Dickie Beaumont played Loose forward/Lock in Wakefield Trinity's 17-0 victory over Hull in the 1909 Challenge Cup final during the 1908–09 season at Headingley Stadium on Tuesday 20 April 1909.
