Güldal Akşit ([ɟyɫdaɫ ˈakʃit]; born January 23, 1960 in Malatya, Turkey) was a Turkish politician and the President of the Parliamentary Commission on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women. She was elected as a member of parliament for Istanbul in 2002 and re-elected in 2007. She was the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the cabinet of Abdullah Gül and the first cabinet of Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Akşit was the head of the AKP women's branch and interested in women's rights.
She graduated from the Hacettepe University and Istanbul University Faculty of Law.
