Giovanni de Rubertis (Acquaviva Collecroce, 25 December 1813 - Acquaviva Collecroce, 20 April 1889) was a principal of a gymnasium at Cosacolende, and corresponding member of the Serbian Learned Society since 30 January 1885.
According to Graziadio Isaia Ascoli, the 19th century writer Giovanni de Rubertis considered the Schiavoni (Slavs) or Dalmati (Dalmatians) of Molise in Italy, Serbs that were brought there by Skanderbeg during his Italian expedition in 1460—1462 along with the Albanians.
