Biography
Giorgio Rossi Cairo (Varese, 15 July 1947) is an Italian entrepreneur. He is managing director of Value Partners, the management consulting multinational he founded in 1993.
Biography
Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic and Executive Program in Finance at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
From 1972 to 1973 he was CNR researcher at the Milan Polytechninc. Then, until 1978 he has been Executive Vice President of the Transportation Planning Division at Polytecna Harris, an Italian-American engineering company.
From 1979 to 1992, instead, he worked as Director in McKinsey & Company and member of the Principal Candidate Evaluation Committee.
In 1993, in Milan, he founded Value Partners, active in 9 countries out of 10 offices: Milan (headquarters), London, Istanbul, Dubai, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In 2000 he set up Value Team, a system integrator specialized in business critical IT services. In April 2011 Value Team was sold to NTT DATA.
Giorgio Rossi Cairo is a partner, through Forever (his family’s investment company) of EcorNaturaSì, a leader company in the organic food market, and Italian Creation Group, a home design and luxury lifestyle industrial holding.
