Gerald C. Davison (born 1939) is Professor of Psychology and Gerontology and former dean of the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California. He has authored more than 150 publications dealing with topics such as experimental analysis of psychopathology, therapeutic change and the links between cognition and a variety of behavioral and emotional problems. Davison has co-authored the textbooks Abnormal Psychology, Case Studies in Abnormal Psychology and Clinical Behavior Therapy. Among his many honors is the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003 from the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
