George Palmer is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Batley, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, in the era of contested scrums.

George Palmer played Left-Second-row, i.e. number 11, in Batley's 8-18 defeat by Huddersfield in the 1952 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1952–53 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 15 November 1952.
