Biography

Geoffrey Henry Barrington Chance (16 December 1893 – 11 July 1987) was an English cricketer. Chance was a right-handed batsman who was a right-arm medium pace bowler.

Chance made his county debut for Berkshire in the Minor Counties Championship, making his debut in 1912 against Devon. In 1913 Chance made two further appearances for the county against Devon and Cornwall.

Chance made his first-class appearance for Hampshire against the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1913, during which Chance made a duck and bowled nine wicketless overs.

In 1923 Chance represented the Marylebone Cricket Club in a single first-class match against Scotland. Chance did not bat in the match and bowled three wicketless overs.

Chance died in Minety, Wiltshire on 11 July 1987.
