Gareth Stephens (born 15 April 1974) is a former rugby league footballer, playing at club level for Leeds, Castleford Tigers, Hull F.C. and Sheffield Eagles, and at representative level for Great Britain U-21 and Wales, as a Stand-off, or Scrum-half.
Stephens started his career at Leeds, making his debut in September 1991. He was signed by Castleford in July 1994. He went on to play for Hull, Sheffield Eagles, Halifax Blue Sox and York Wasps.
Stephens won four caps for Wales between 1995 and 1998, and played at the 1995 Rugby League World Cup.
Stephens is the son of former Great Britain rugby league international, Gary Stephens.
