Biography

Gail Curry (born 16 February 1964) is a 6 time English Croquet Champion player winning the Women's Championship 5 out of 6 consecutive seasons in the 1990s.

Early Life

Curry attended Ralph Gardner High School in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, England.

Croquet

Curry won the Croquet Association Women's Championship in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995,1996 & 2003 and the Double's Championship in 1992 & 2001.

She was the editor of Croquet Gazette between 1996 and 2001.

Career

Curry trained as a Youth Worker. Later obtaining a degree from the Open University, she went on to become a Social Worker.

There followed a career as a Professional Photographer travelling the world.

She is now an Artist, Writer & Poet. Running a Community Interest Company, as a Founder and Director, called Happy Planet Creative Arts C.I.C.

Personal life

Curry is currently working on publishing a book of Poetry, which is due for launch on World Mental Health Day, the 10th October 2017.
