Biography

Friedrich Wolters (2 September 1876 – 14 April 1930) was a German historian, poet and translator. He was one of the central figures of the George-Kreis, an influential literary group. Wolters met Stefan George in 1904 and by the 1920s was one of his strongest supporters in the George-Kreis.
