Frank W. Townsend (April→June 1925 - October→December 1946) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 545), as a centre, i.e. number 3 or 4, he was fatally injured in a match against Featherstone Rovers at Post Office Road, Featherstone during the 1946–47 season.
