Biography
Felicia Farr (born 4 October 1932) is a former American actress and model.
Life and career
Felicia Farr was born as Olive Dines on October 4, 1932, to Sylvia (Schwartz) and Max Dines in Westchester County, New York.
She appeared in several modeling photoshoots and advertisements during the 1950s and 1960s.
Farr made her screen debut in 1954, playing the role of "Gerda Van Ryck" in "The Savage" episode of the TV series The Lone Wolf, starring Louis Hayward, Peter Coe, and George Keymas.
Her other early screen appearances included the Westerns Jubal (1956) and 3:10 to Yuma (1957), both starring Glenn Ford, and The Last Wagon (1956) starring Richard Widmark.
Farr's later films include: Billy Wilder's romance-comedy Kiss Me, Stupid (1964) with Dean Martin and Ray Walston as her husband, a role originally intended for Jack Lemmon; Walter Matthau's daughter-in-law in Kotch (1971, Lemmon's only film as director); the Don Siegel bank-heist caper Charley Varrick (1973) with Matthau; plus more than 30 television series appearances on The Alfred HitchcockHour, Bonanza, Ben Casey, Burke's Law, and many others.
Her last film credit was Colin Thompson's 2014 comedy/drama Loser's Crown, in which she portrayed the character of "Mrs. Phelps" alongside Oscar Ewald and Chesaré Hardy.
Personal life
Felicia was married to actor Lee Farr from September 2, 1949, until the divorce on March 23, 1955. They had one daughter, Denise Farr, who later became the wife of actor Don Gordon.
She then married film star Jack Lemmon on August 17, 1962, while Lemmon was filming the comedy Irma La Douce in Paris. They remained married until Lemmon's death on June 27, 2001. They had one daughter: actress Courtney Lemmon, born on January 7, 1966.
She also happens to be the stepmother of Lemmon's son, actor, and author Chris Lemmon (from Lemmon's first marriage with actress Cynthia Stone).
