Biography

Eyvind Getz (1888–1956) was a Norwegian barrister and politician for the Conservative Party.
He was a son of jurist Bernhard Getz (1850–1901), a brother of barrister Bernhard Nicolai Getz (1878–1932) and a first cousin once removed of Alfred Getz. His great-grandfather immigrated to Norway, probably from Schwarzwald.
He was a barrister by profession, and mayor of Oslo from 1932 to 1934. He was also chair of Oslo Kinematografer from 1932 to 1934.
