In March 2017, his bust depicting Portuguese professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was unveiled at the newly renamed Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport. This work attracted much controversy over whether the sculpture bore a likeness with it's subject, with many ridiculing the bust's strange facial proportions. In May, his bust depicting Welsh professional footballer Gareth Bale was unveiled in Cardiff.
