Biography
Eduard Davydovich Lepin (1889 – August 22, 1938) was a Latvian-born Soviet division commander and Komkor (corps commander). He fought in the Russian Civil War against the White movement. He was a recipient of the Order of the Red Banner. During the Great Purge, he was arrested on December 2, 1937, and executed the following year. After the death of Joseph Stalin, he was rehabilitated in 1956.
