Biography
Donya Aziz is a Pakistani woman politician, she was born on November 3, 1975 at Lahore, Pakistan.She is an MBBS doctor.
Early Life and Education
Aziz is a medical doctor holding BSc and MBBS degrees from the University of Punjab. After completing her medical education she did research in interventional radiology at the UCLA Medical Center.
Political career
Aziz began her political career In 2002 with the PML-Q and was Member of the National Assembly twice for Pakistan Muslim League on reserved seats for women, from 2002–07 and 2008-13. During her first term in Parliament, Aziz was one of its youngest members, and was appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Population Welfare from September 2003 - November 2007 where she pursued her interest in advocacy for reproductive health.
