Biography

Dick Sutherland (December 23, 1881 – February 3, 1934) was an American film actor, mostly during the silent film era. Born in Benton, Kentucky as Archibald Thomas Johnson, he appeared in 76 films between 1921 and 1932. Sutherland died in Hollywood, California from a heart attack, at the age of 52. He is interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
His distinctive facial features were a result of acromegaly.
