Deborah Lynn Steinberg is a Professor of Gender, Culture and Media Studies in the Department of Sociology at the University of Warwick, UK. She has a BA in Women's Studies from the University of California at Berkeley,USA; an MA from the University of Kent, UK; and a PhD from the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies (CCCS), University of Birmingham, UK.
