Biography

David Johnston Robertson Clyne (1 July 1916 – 12 May 1944) was a Scottish amateur football right back who played in the Scottish League for Queen's Park. He was capped by Scotland at amateur level.

Personal life

Clyne served as a warrant officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve during the Second World War and was killed on 12 May 1944. He was buried in Riddrie Park Cemetery, Glasgow.
