Biography
David Andrew Roy White, also known as David A. R. White is an American evangelical Christian actor, screenwriter and producer. He grew up in a small farming town that was located outside of Dodge City, Kansas. He is a co-founder of Pure Flix Entertainment, a distribution and production company specializing in Christian-themed movies. The company's first film was Hidden Secrets. He is married to actress and producer Andrea Logan (born July 29, 1978), who played the role of his wife in the 2009 movie In the Blink of an Eye.
Acting
White moved to Los Angeles, California at age 19. Six months after his arrival in Los Angeles, he was given the role of Andrew Phillpot, the best friend of Burt Reynolds' son, in the CBS television series titled, Evening Shade (1990–1994). White also had guest appearances in television series such as Coach, Saved by the Bell, Sisters and Melrose Place.
David A.R White first starring role was in the 1992 Christian drama film Second Glance. He has also acted in films such as The Visitation, an adaption of the novel by author Frank Peretti, Bells of Innocence with actor Chuck Norris, and Mercy Streets where he was nominated for The Movie Guide Awards' Best Actor.
White is today best known for his roles in a series of Bible-related films:
In 1998 he played the character of Matt in End of the Harvest.
In 1999 White played as Adam Riley in The Moment After, and the 2006 sequel, The Moment After 2: The Awakening, both of which Andrea played in as well.
In 2003, White played as Ethan Parker in "The Sparky Chronicles: The Map".
In 2004, White played as Brody Sutton in Six: The Mark Unleashed.
In 2009 White played as FBI agent David in the film In the Blink of an Eye.

In 2012 he played James in Brother White, and Special Agent Ric Caperna in The Encounter:Paradise Lost (sequel to the 2011 film The Encounter which he produced and directed).
The biggest film of White's career was the 2014 film God's Not Dead, which grossed more than $64 million in worldwide theaters, followed two years after by God's Not Dead 2, reprising his role.
In 2015, he played as Wayne in Faith of Our Fathers, a film about veterans from the Vietnam War and what their families have gone through.
Producer
Although White was an associate producer in the film End of the Harvest, The Moment After was the first film that White produced. White also played the role of Adam Riley in the film. He has produced other films such as The Visitation, The Wager, and Hidden Secrets. In 2012 he produced the historical drama Apostle Peter and the Last Supper starring Robert Loggia and Bruce Marchiano.
Director
In 2010 White started directing. His first film was The Encounter, about four strangers stranded at a diner, being served by the owner, who claims he is Jesus, which starred Bruce Marchiano, Jaci Velasquez, and pro wrestler Steve "Sting" Borden.
His second film was Holyman Undercover which starred David himself and Fred Willard.
