Biography

Danny Cevallos is a criminal defense attorney and legal analyst for MSNBC and NBC News reporting on high-profile cases, and other news events. He joined MSNBC in September 2017, after spending six years at CNN, HLN, and Court TV as an analyst and guest host. In the past, he had appeared on the Howard Stern Show's Special People's Court segment. Before moving to New York City, he was a legal analyst for several television stations in the Philadelphia area.

Cevallos practices in Pennsylvania and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the District Court of Puerto Rico, and other federal courts. He was defense counsel in a high-profile cop-killer case in St. Croix, and recently handled the defense of a federal bribery and extortion case in St. Thomas.

He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is the co-founding partner of Cevallos & Wong, LLP and is Of Counsel at Edelman & Edelman.
