Biography
Danijel Pavlović (Serbian Cyrillic: Данијел Павловић; born 27 July 1985) is a Serbian singer–songwriter and television personality, who came to media attention as a finalist of Operacija trijumf, regional version of Fame Academy.
Early and personal life
Pavlović was born on 27 July 1985 in Kragujevac, Yugoslavia. He was raised by his mother as a Serbian Orthodox. His half–sister on the father's side is Marija Šerifović, a popular Serbian singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Molitva". Pavlović also appeared in the music video for Šerifović's 2003 single "Znaj da znam". He has accomplished the Music Academy in Novi Sad and was a teacher of piano at the Music Academy of Kragujevac. Pavlović plays both piano and violin, and has won several international music awards for his performances. He also took part in music festival in Budva Pjesma Mediterana with the song "Ljubav koja ne bledi", and was gained a great praise.
Pavlović is a good friend with Operacija trijumf contestant Milica Majstorović; the two of them took part in together in Beovizija 2009. Of musicians he admires Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé Knowles, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Aleksandra Kovač, Jelena Tomašević, and Nina Badrić.
Career
2008—2009: Operacija trijumf
Operacija trijumf was a regional reality/talent show based on Fame Academy, and it was broadcast by five countries in the Western Balkan — Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. Pavlović placed into the finals, but was eliminated in the first round of voting. During the Operacija trijumf, he was praised for his musical talent, but criticized for his unfriendly relationships with the other students, having disputes even with his professors. Pavlović also had numerous disputes with the student Jasmina Midžić, who accused him knowing he would stay when the two of them were nominated.

2009—present: Upcoming solo album
After the end of Operacija trijumf it was announced that Pavlović and another contestant Milica Majstorović would take part in Beovizija 2009, Serbian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Their song "H8er" was written by eminent Serbian songwriter Marina Tucaković. They finished the 8th with the total of 7 points. On 19 and 20 April Pavlović and his Operacija trijumf colleagues held two sold out concerts in Belgrade's Sava Centar.
Alongside his Operacija trijumf colleague Ana Bebić Pavlović appeared in one episode of television show Leteći start, which is produced by Emotion. It was also announced on 8 June 2009 that he would take part in Sunčane Skale festival in Herceg Novi, alongside his Operacija trijumf colleagues Ana Bebić and Milica Majstorović with the song Rođeni sa greškom, written by Emina Jahović. The song was released on the internet on 27 June 2009, and recorded in Istanbul, in the studio of Jahović's husband, music producer and songwriter Mustafa Sandal. The song placed the ninth at the final event with a total of 39 points. On 8 July 2009 it was announced that the numerous contestants of Operacija trijumf, including Pavlović, would terminate their contracts with Emotion due to professional disputes. It was also reported that Pavlović, Sonja Bakić and Nikola Sarić had already hired lawyers for this case.
