Biography

Damita Chandler (born Damita Dawn Bass on September 4, 1971) is an American gospel singer.

Chandler released her first album, entitled Damita, in 2000. on Atlantic Records. Her second album, No Looking Back, was released in 2008 on Tyscot Records. The album's first single was the title track, "No Looking Back." Damita was recently featured on an artist web series titled Mason J Presents in which she states that she is currently recording new material with Christopher Starr of CSP Music Group for her upcoming studio album. She also stated that has a reality show under works with her current husband Reuben Chandler that will follow the couple's lives and share their focus on life, faith, and music.

Personal life

Damita was married to Deitrick Haddon. On May 3, 2014, Damita married Reuben Chandler, a professional photographer. The event was officiated by Donnie McClurkin.
