Biography
Christine A. Shoemaker is an American environmental engineer, currently the Joseph P. Ripley Professor at Cornell University. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Honorary Member of American Society of Civil Engineers and Fellow of American Geophysical Union, Institute for Operations Research and Management Science, and Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics .
