Biography

Charles Brownlow Cumberland (1801 – 26 November 1882) was an Australian cricketer. He played two first-class cricket matches for Victoria. He also played for Melbourne Cricket Club.

Cumberland was a major general in the British Army. He commanded the 59th Regiment for several years while it was stationed in Tasmania.

Cumberland was made a justice of the peace for Van Diemen's Land in June 1842.
