Song Chang-Sik (hangul: 송창식) is a South Korean folk singer-songwriter born in 1947. Song is well known for denying the traditional Solfège (both Korean and Western), and re-interpreting the melody on his own. These melodies can be hardly written with traditional note system, as he "creates" notes that never existed.
He still remains as one of the most important figure in Korean music history.
