Carl Guardino

Carl Guardino is CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), in Silicon Valley, California, in the United States. In that role he has been described as "Silicon Valley's cheerleader in chief."

Positions

Guardino supports immigration legislation reform, and has stated that immigration is a workforce and competitiveness issue.

Guardino points out that the cost of housing in the Silicon Valley is a major deterrent to hiring and retaining staff for local companies. He led the SVLG, in partnership with the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, in forming a $24 million housing trust which has helped more than 6,000 families find housing in the area.
