William Arthur "Billy" Spittle was an English professional football inside forward who played in the Football League for Leicester City and Arsenal.

Personal life

Spittle served as a corporal in the 17th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) during the First World War.
