Biography

Bertha-Clara von Rothschild (January 2, 1862 Frankfurt – Paris September 18, 1903) was the princess of Wagram, and was a member of the famous Rothschild family.
Bertha was the youngest daughter of Mayer Carl von Rothschild and daughter of Louise von Rothschild. She married Louis Philippe Marie Alexandre Berthier, 3rd Prince of Wagram (1862–1903) in 1882, Bertha was one of two daughters of Mayer Carl von Rothschild to a marry a gentile. and had three children:
Alexandre Louis Philippe Marie Berthier, 4th Prince de Wagram (1883–1918)
Elisabeth Berthier de Wagram, (1885–1960), married Prince Henri de La Tour d'Auvergne-Lauraguais (1876–1914)
Marguerite Berthier de Wagram, (5 Dec 1887 – 25 Jun 1966), married Prince Jean Victor de Broglie (1878–1974)
