Biography

Asjad Mahmood (اسجد محمود); born on 09 November 1994, Dera Ismail Khan. Asjad Mahmood is a Pakistani Scholar and Politician and Belongs to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F). He is the son of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman (Politician) the President of Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (F) and grandson of Maulana Mufti Mehmood (مولانا مفتى محمود‎), (1919–1980) an Indian Pakistani politician who was a member and one of the founding members of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI).

 

 

He was the Central Assistant Convener of Jamiat Talaba-e-Islam from the year 2014-2016. In 2020 he completed his Degree in Aalahmiyyah in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Jamia Islamia Rawalpindi. Having a strong political background and scholarly knowledge Asjad Mahmood has gained a lot of popularity amongst Pakistani people with his views on the current situation of the country.

Early life and background:

Asjad Mahmood was born in Dera Ismail Khan on the 9th of November 1994.

For early education he completed his Degree in Aalahmiyyah in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Jamia Islamia Rawalpindi, From 2012 on 2020.

During his religious training and education he gained further knowledge by his grandfather, Mufti Mahmud who was an Islamic scholar and politician, served as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 1972 to 1973.

 

 

Career:

Asjad begun his political career in 2020. With his new age ideas, political views and He belongs to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F).

 

Political Activism:

Asjad was also working actively to organise the The 2019 Azadi march is an ongoing protest of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) in Islamabad, Pakistan from 28 October 2019. The march was to set against Prime Minister Imran Khan, demanding new elections and his resignation. The protest involved tens of thousands of protesters. Asjad had a great influence on the protesters & people who follow his political party Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (F).
